Ron Leiman again for Preservation month hour one; The Ysleta Historical Marker. Bonnie Schulenberg was also on the first hour and we concentrated on the Ysleta High School Historical Marker Dedication on May 10 and the other markers for schools on the Alameda Corridor.
The second hour Ron expanded the program for multiple concerns in the Ysleta Historic District and along the Alameda Corridor including programs, historical markers, wayside markers, the Playa Drain Trail and the Bankhead Highway. One specific is recognition for Moritz Lowenstein, his wife and family who resided in the building that is now the Nestle Valencia Transfer Center on the Northeast corner of Alameda and Zaragoza.
