UTEP professor Dr. Brad Cartwright is our guest the first hour, to talk about History Day at UTEP for high schools and their history essay contest. He is joined by Dr. Adriana Jimenez who teaches humanities at Wiggs Middle School and whose students have had great success at both the regional and state competitions. Joseph Horak was a winning student in this competition, and he was also with us. In Our second hour, Dr. Jeff Shepherd discussed border studies with a focus on El Paso area, and graduate history programs at UTEP.
