EL PASO’S HISTORIC SITES AND MARKERS DVD

Now you can explore centuries of El Paso history and heritage using the latest in DVD and GPS technology.

It’s possible with the newest DVD from Capstone Productions Inc., “El Paso’s Historic Sites and Markers.” The DVD allows you to click through GPS coordinates for more than 200 locations, including museums, historic sites and landmarks, and all historic markers in El Paso County, Texas.

Twenty eight of the historic sites are featured in short TV segments that summarize thousand of years of El Paso history. From an Archaic-period village called Keystone to the Spanish conquistadores, from the Wild West to present day, El Paso’s rich history and heritage comes alive in the produced and narrated TV segments that run about an hour in total.

Produced in partnership with the El Paso County Historical Commission, “El Paso’s Historic Sites and Markers” includes GPS coordinates presented in five easy-to-read slide shows. Load the GPS coordinates into your GPS receiver or car GPS system to find history for yourself.

The El Paso Times is a sponsor of the bonus GPS Directory included in each DVD.
